Gather all required packing supplies, accessories and boxes before you begin the process of packing of sculptures and make them ready to move to your new destination door step.
Required Packing Supplies:
- Blank newsprint paper, bubble wraps, peanuts foams or wrapping sheets
- Sturdy boxes of different sizes
- Heavy duty packaging tape
- Labeling stickers and markers
- Scissors or knife
Packing Tips:
- You will need a carton that is large then the size of your sculpture you want to pack.
- Prepare the box placing plenty of wadded blank newsprint paper at the bottom of the box.
- Make sure that when you pack the sculpture that be extra careful with very thin or delicate designs on sculpture.
- Wrap sculpture carefully using bubble wrap or blank newsprint paper or wrapping sheet and tape it securely.
- Fill the box with peanuts to about on third of it and place wrapped sculpture inside the box in upright position.
- Fill all around and on top with wadded blank newsprint paper or bubble wraps of peanut foams.
- Tape shut the box and mark: “FRAGILE – SCULPTURE – HANDLE WITH CARE.”
